Current research

SVI since 2014, as Associate Researcher (2015)
Microanalysis: Development of protocols for the advanced characterization of nano-layer and interfaces combining techniques such as XPS, AFM, TEM/STEM*, ToF-SIMS**, SEM**, XRD** (*: Nanotem-Tempos platform, **: SGR)
Thin Films: layer properties as deposited or after thermal post-treatment (ex: metal: Ag, oxide: SiO2, nitride: SiNx); interactions between layer (inter-diffusion, ex: NiCr/ZnO); reactions at the interface (ex: Ti/ZnO).
Sputtering deposition: operando analysis during Ag growth for continuous thin layer with bulk-like properties but also 3D nanoparticles for plasmonic applications; impact of the seed-layer on the in-plane texture of Ag; link between PVD operating conditions and the properties of thin films.
Glass Surface: Float glass specificity; relationship between surface properties (durability) and glass composition; interactions between the glass surface and functionalization layer (alkaline, O, H-based inter-diffusion phenomena).
